    Yoga is an ancient art that incorporates the mind, body, and breath.  Yoga helps you to become more aware of your posture, alignment, and become more comfortable and confident in your body and its endless abilities.  You can start practicing Yoga at any age, and with continued practice you will begin to see the amazing and real effects; feel fitter, be more energetic, be happier, and more peaceful.

What  is Green Ray Yoga?
     
        In the study of Chakras, or energy points on the body, each of the 7 chakras has a color, or light ray, that corresponds to it.  The fourth chakra is the Heart Chakra, or Anahata, which corresponds to  the green chromatic ray.  Since my style of yoga is very heart centered, focusing on the chest and heart as the center of the self, I chose the name Green Ray Yoga. What is the Style of Yoga?

    I teach alignment based, Iyengar style yoga classes that also incorporate aspects of mindfulness and meditation.  (Read more about Iyengar style yoga here.)
